Uni-Green Shower Niche Tile Ready 15.6" ×15.6" × 4" - Flush 13 5/8" x 13 5/8" ID

Here is a square tile-ready shower niche left over from my project.  The actual opening to tile is 13-5/8" x 13-5/8" x 3-7/8".  The outside mounting dimension with flanges is 15 5/8" x 15 5/8" and 9 screws hold it onto the stud framing.  It has a 1/2" flange that ends up flush with your backerboard.  Just seal the edges with the backerboard and this is then fully water sealed.  Made from molded plastic material can't leak!  The brochure is a little mis-leading as to the dimensions, (They show it as 14" x 14" opening, considering you use a 1/4" tile and thinset, you will end up with a finished niche of 13 x 13) you will need to custom fit the stud opening around it to fit correctly with the screws to hold it in solid.
