Differential Fluid Change Intervals For VW Touareg: Due to the VW Touareg differential case having smaller fluid capacity it is better to change more frequently. Typically it is best to change your differential fluid every 60,000-100,000 miles depending on driving conditions. For heavy city driving, performance minded enthusiast, and off road we recommend more frequent changes. For light driving conditions, we recommend less frequent changes.
