Seller packs all merchandise carefully to prevent damage during shipments. Nevertheless, damage may occur occasionally in transit.
Seller is not responsible for any damage due to the shipping.
Any damage during shipment is the responsibility of the carrier; therefore the purchaser must make all damage claims directly to the carrier.
The buyer is responsible for filing claims with the shipping service. We will give you any information you need.
Inspect package before signing.
If anything is wrong with the item please note it on all copies of the bill of lading and immediately contact the trucking company. KEEP your package.
Never refuse shipment or return it without approval since your right to make a damage claim may be denied.
If the damage is apparent upon receipt, accept the merchandise and note the damage and irregularities (such as crushed, torn, or broken packing) on the freight bill and have the driver sign it as verification.
If the damage is not readily apparent at the time of arrival (where the box is intact but the merchandise inside is damaged it is considered concealed damage), then it must be reported to the shipping company within 24 hours after receipt of shipment.
Any damage during the shipment process will be the responsibility of the shipping company.
This item is USED so it might show signs of wear, but it has been tested by a technician and is in good working condition.
We like to keep things as simple as possible so both parties (seller & buyer) are in agreement before, during, and after the transaction has taken place.
Used Items:
We stock a tremendous amount of used equipment. These items fall under different categories. Some items are in good shape when we receive them and require minimal cleaning and no refurbishing. Other items require dismantling and replacement of parts in addition to painting and refinishing. We always try to describe our items as best as possible, but in some cases, certain observations may be overlooked due to the amount of volume we sell. We encourage our clients to contact us before buying an item to ask as many questions as possible. An example of this may be that an item may be missing a part that is not shown in the photos. Please do not assume that the item comes with the part if it is not shown. An item may be discontinued or outdated and the factory/manufacturer may have updated that particular model. If no current specs or information is available, we will match it to the closest product.
Products listed as "Tested & Working" or in working condition are exactly that. Something like a light bulb not working or a timer bell not functioning does not affect the working condition of an item and these things may occur.
If you receive an item and you are in any way dissatisfied or have any issues, please contact us right away via any of the following methods: eBay message system, telephone (Mon-Fri, 9-5), or Gmail. Please keep in mind our hours of operation. Within our policies, we are always willing to make customers happy. If you do not communicate with us, we cannot help you.
Items listed as "Not Tested" or "As Is" are exactly that. We have not tested them and we do not imply that they work. What you see is what you get.
New Items:
Inventory of new items is provided to us by the distributor. We cannot and do not guarantee availability of any item at the time of purchase. Always assume a 7-10 business day lead time for availability. We urge our clients to contact us for a more accurate availability with stock.
Factory / Manufacturer Spec Sheets & Descriptions: The information we provide in our listings comes from the manufacturer via website or public advertising. We do not take responsibility for any error or misrepresentation. We recommend that our buyers contact us with technical questions before bidding or buying.
Shipping Information
Please request a quote for shipping before bidding or buying an item. Please do not assume how much an item will cost to ship to you. Most items require freight; NOT FedEx, UPS, or USPS. There is a crating fee and a crating process, the item must travel hundreds to thousands of miles, and many factors go into the price of shipping. You may call or email us and we will walk you through the process and answer all of your questions. We pass our discount along to our clients. With the sheer volume of freight we ship annually, we receive a much higher discounted rate on shipping than your average non-commercial seller. This means that the price we receive from the freight companies and pass on to you is much cheaper than setting up your own shipment. Local pick up is available at no extra charge!
Crating:
A fee will be applied to your total invoice in order to properly package / crate your item for shipment depending on your item .
Shipping Damages:
Unfortunately, shipping damage is an issue among the freight industry. Even though we crate, palletize, and use protective materials on our items, we sometimes cannot control mishandling or damages that may occur while in transit. We specifically include a large shipping sticker that asks the buyer to examine the freight before accepting it. If there is any damage, it must be indicated on the Bill of Lading that the driver gives you to sign. If you do not examine the merchandise and you still sign for it, we will NOT be able to file a claim or hold the shipper responsible. Freight companies are able to deny millions of dollars in damages because items were not inspected at the time of delivery and were not marked as "damaged" on the Bill of Lading. If your item has been crated, please expect to uncrate it and inspect it before the driver has left and before you sign for it. A driver is obligated to wait. If he or she tries to rush you or you are in any way unhappy with the delivery, ask to speak to his or her dispatcher. You may also contact us for assistance.
Shipping Practices:
If you are having your item shipped to a residence, please let us know as freight companies charge a separate residential delivery fee. If you are running a business out of your home, you are still classified as a residence.
Freight is generally bulky and heavy. This means that it must be lowered to the ground from the truck, which is usually 3-5 feet off of the ground. If you do not have a loading dock or a forklift at your delivery site, you will need to use the truck's lift gate to lower the item to the ground. Freight companies charge a separate fee for this service so please let us know if you do or do not require a lift gate on delivery.
Inside Delivery:
Unless you pay for and make arrangements to have the freight company bring your item(s) inside, they will not do it. Freight deliveries are sidewalk / curbside only. You must have the tools and man power to uncrate your item and bring it inside. The driver is not required to provide any tools or assistance.
Pick Up Policies:
Please read the listing and make sure you understand the dimensions. It is your job to make sure the vehicle you arrive in can accommodate the equipment you are picking up.
We are always more than willing to assist our clients in loading equipment as long as the vehicle can accommodate the item(s). Removing wheels, handles, or any dismantling of the item is the responsibility of the buyer. Please make sure that you are prepared and have tools, stretch wrap, straps, rope, blankets, cardboard, etc. We do NOT supply these items.
All equipment is designed to be transported in its original vertical position. We strongly oppose lying the item(s) down and/or transporting equipment in any way other than its original position. If you choose to lay your item down, we will not be responsible for malfunction or damages.
Payment & Returns
Payment:
We require payment within 5 days of winning the bid. Payment must be paid via PayPal, credit card, or check (Please keep in mind that check payments will delay shipment as they have to clear through the bank prior to release of equipment). If you need more time to pay, please call us and let us know. If payment and / or communication is not made within 5 days, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction and offer your item to another buyer.
Returns:
ONLY if marked returnable!!!!! Returns are only accepted within 14 days of receiving an item. This does not mean you can return an item when you decide to open the box or uncrate it. Statements such as "My store was not open yet" or "By the time I opened the package, it was over the 14 day period" will not be accepted under any circumstances. We urge our clients to inspect their merchandise within 24 hours of receiving it. In the event that a client wishes to return an item based on a misunderstanding of description or they simply change their mind, shipping charges to you and back to us will not be refunded under any circumstances.
The only time we will reimburse shipping charges will be if an error in the listing was made on our part or if an item is not working and the client does not wish to have it repaired by their local technician.
Please keep in mind that if you open the box or package on a new item and in any way attempt to use it, you will not be able to return it. New items are drop shipped from the factory / manufacturer / distributor and they have very strict rules about accepting a used product. They have trained people that will know if it has been used. In some cases, they will allow a return but will institute a restocking fee (generally between 25 - 50%).
Repairs: Please note that within 14 days of the arrival of the merchandise, equipment shall be deemed property of the seller. We do NOT authorize any diagnosis or repair on the merchandise without our written consent. Any unauthorized tampering or repair(s) will void any return. Buyer cannot say "I needed the item to work so I had my guy fix it and here is the bill." This is simply unfair and wrong. If you receive a product and it does not work, you must contact us within 1 business day. We will either authorize work to be done and pay partial or full repair cost (based on the cost of repair in relation to the actual value of the item) or we will offer a return for a refund.
